About the tool

Our novel IMPACTO tool is a great addition to the teachers' toolbox in dealing with information literacy, critical thinking and disinformation.

In a wide range of real-world and fictitious scenarios, we are demonstrating how events may unfold and lead to actual harm - to self or to others. IMPACTO features links between such scenarios, the specific skills at play, and the consequences at individual and social system level.

How it works

The interactive tool allows you to pick one or more competences and access the list of scenarios linked to these competences that you can use in class. Separate from this, you can also interact by putting a focus on one or more social systems to explore scenarios that negatively affect these systems.

You can also filter the collection of scenarios by selecting a combination of competences and social systems.
